
Trent Meacham retired in 2018 from a nine-year professional basketball career throughout Europe. He played multiple years in the EuroLeague and was a 3x champion in France. Prior, he attended the University of Illinois. After beginning as a walk-on, he became a starter and team captain for his hometown Fighting Illini.
This space is used to share what Trent learned through his athletic experiences and living abroad. The lessons can be applied widely to better any individual, team or organization. Areas discussed include faith, leadership, teamwork, preparation, competition, mindset, purpose, character development and more.

Personal: First for Trent is his faith as a follower of Jesus. He’s also husband to Theresa and a father to 4 boys (twin six-year-olds Andrew and Malachi, four-year-old Dominic, and infant Simeon). His greatest privilege and responsibility is leading his family.
Work: Trent serves as the Executive Relationship Director at the wealth management firm, Cozad Asset Management, Inc. His focus is on growing the company, primarily through bringing in new clients and recruiting new advisors. He’s also integral in team-building and communications for the firm.
Trent continues to stay connected to basketball and is an analyst for the Big Ten Network He also speaks and consults in the realms of leadership, teamwork, faith and performance.
